Who can ask
Anybody who holds a seat at your firm can ask, a person with no seat cannot, and whatever your Library does not cover reaches your Queue.
A person with no seat cannot open your firm. An invitation or a link alone does not give access.
You add and remove people yourself, in Set up, under Team. Adding somebody sends them an invitation at the address you type; they hold a seat once they accept it. Taking somebody off ends their access.
People outside your firm ask you through your client portal. In Set up, add their email address as a guest.
They sign in the first time, which is how their questions stay theirs, and they can be answered from the pages you have marked customer-safe.
Withdrawing a guest stops their access. Their questions and your answers stay on your record.
